I stayed at Hotel Alter Telegraf for three nights during a family vacation. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was surprisingly spacious with a comfortable bed. The breakfast had a nice variety and the restaurant below served a lovely dinner. I also enjoyed the hotel's unique atmosphere, especially the small inner garden.

I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The accommodation is not a jewel, but clean and functional. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. There is an own parking place in a nearby street only a few meters away. Breakfast is not a big choice but there is everything you need in the morning. Absolutely recommended for a night or a short stay.

The amount of space available in the wash basin is extremely small. It is almost impossible to brush your teeth above the mini washbasin. No problem for one night.

That the rooms go out to a small very green (guest) garden, very nice!

Quaint hotel with Faulty Towers feel. Beautiful staff, comfy bed, good breaky. Excellent location, short walk to Schlossberg.

Very good location; Parking lot somewhat hidden but still available; Late in the evening a flashlight is recommended there as unlit, convenient single room on the street with the window closed, it was ok to sleep.

I always stay here. It's perfect. Staff once helped with serving my elderly parents. Wi-Fi, Bar, Restaurant, Welcome drink, Snack bar, Coffee shop. Coming back for xmas.

Parking space signage could have been better

Very good breakfast, also the food in the restaurant was very tasty. Room was in very quiet location in the courtyard with private entrance. Central location of the hotel, staff was always very nice, helpful and friendly. I have felt very comfortable over the days there.

The somewhat outdated toilet basin in the bathroom, could be considered with a new model.

The location near Uni Graz is convenient. Cheap and affordable. Courtyard for relaxation. Accommodating staff. Clean rooms. Convenient location. Abundant hot water. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.

The location and price are excellent, the single rooms are very small but clean and comfortable.

Wifi was not working properly

This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of the city, with a unique atmosphere and a lovely small inner garden. The rooms, though small, are cozy and comfortable, perfect for a solo traveler like myself. The location near the old town and the university is unbeatable, making it convenient to explore the city and attend any courses or meetings. The staff were helpful and the continental breakfast, despite the milk issue, was delicious.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was great, with no major issues.

The hotel had a lovely seating area where I could relax and enjoy my fried and grilled chicken. The free WiFi was so reliable, it felt like I was attached to the Internet!

Who needs a gym when you can just climb the Schloßberg hill to get to the hotel? A perfect workout!
